Not a huge trout fishing state, but Alabama does have a healthy
sea-trout population on the gulf coast, and the mountains of North Alabama have
trout streams, though the information is sketchy. Your best bet for
freshwater trout will be in the area from Birmingham north and east to the
Georgia / Tennesse border. Though the Cheaha mountain area might yield
results.
